Will Harris (Dieumoda)
Multi-Medium Artist
An artist is defined as a person who practices any of the various creative arts, a person skilled at a particular task or occupation. Someone who produces paintings or drawings as a profession or hobby; or a performer. I’ve been an artist from birth. My way of thinking has been different from the moment I could process. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Decatur was my stomping ground. It did not take me long to realize I would have a love for artistry.
Many children utter “mom” or “dad” as their first word. True story, mine was “shopping”. I developed an eye for aesthetics and cool design through fashion. Fast forward to middle school, I grew a stronger affinity for music, cars, sneakers, and painting. At the time, they all seemed to coexist. The older I got, the more I learned who I was. In high school, I started to design clothes. It started with just simple tee shirts. My vision was to take positive affirmations and put them on clothes. I’ve always had a heart and mind to do philanthropic work. My parents raised us to care about our actions and the people around us.
I’m a rap artist - performed in different parts of the world, at major festivals, and gained fans in countries I’ve yet to visit (“Paintin Pictures with Mud” Out Now). I run a clothing brand in which I’ve held sold out pop-up shops. Porsche employed me as Senior Ambassador, where I’m gaining insight as to why the brand is what it is, and how to blend lifestyle and luxury. I’m a craftsman, specializing in Bespoke pieces of furniture. I’m also a painter, fresh off hosting my sixth exhibition. I want my art to resonate with everyone in some way. It’s hard to argue what you feel! I want my work to outlive me. The vision is to cultivate ideals that speak in ways audial language never could. Music and clothing taught me a lot about painting at the gallery level. Will you be Maison Margiela - classic and subdued, or Rick Owens - brash and defiant? As rap artists have different flows, painters have different techniques. I’m excited to continue my creative journey. The world is my canvas; I live the life of a Multi-Medium Artist.
